The series have three stages, the blind audition, a battle phase, and the live performance shows. Four celebrity mentors choose their teams of contestants through a blind audition process. Then each team is mentored and polished by its respective coach. In the second round the two members of one team start battle with each other by singing. Each week one by one competitors are eliminated. Eventually only one singer is remained for the title of “The Voice of America”, in a live grang finale. Viewers also take part in the show by casting votes for the best singer.
