This 2012 television show is based on a superhit feature film of the 1993 and best-selling novel of the 1991 by world-renowned author John Grisham. The series continues the story of Mitchell McDeere and his family 10 years after the fictional setting of the novel and film. As a young associate, McDeere brought down the worthwhile and honorable Memphis law firm of Bendini, Lambert and Locke that protected a Chicago organized crime syndicate. After the death of Chicago mob boss a tough decade is passed. Then McDeere and his family reappear to start their new life despite past dangers and new threats.
