Mr. Young centers on child prodigy Adam Young. Adam went to University at the age of nine, and he graduated from high school and university at the age of fourteen. He is joined the students of Finnegan as a high school science teacher, only he becomes the science teacher at the school. He reunites with childhood friends Derby who is best friend, Slab who is class bully, and a girl Echo who has crush on.
