The story of this series is about a girl named Kacey Simon who is a former queen of The Perfs (perf is the abbreviation for "perfect") musical band in her school. But in after she is ignored and kicked out from the singing group by her fellow girls. So Kacey joins another singing group named Gravity 5 and soon he becomes the lead singer of Gravity 5. Day by day she gains popularity due to her singing and dancing talent. Her group begins a rivalry with Kacey's former group. Kacey is feeling herself under the influence of her group's leader Zander who is very kind to her.
