The story of this series throws light on the main character of a woman Amanda Vaughn. In the past who was famous as a "Queen Bitch" in high school. Now she is forced to return home after divorce. Finally she decides to return home with her two teenage children where she grew up. She stays with her fifty plus mother Gigi Stopper. She is an optimistic women and hopeful for a new start. She meets her former school friends, but soon she finds that it is not possible to escape the past.
