The series tells us the story of a newly divorced mother in her forties with a seventeen year old son. Her name is Jules Cobb and she resides in a small town in Florida, appropriately named Cougartown. Jules is a real estate agent and who is very successful in business. She strives to relive her 20s and make up for lost time by dating younger men. She efforts to obtain the balance between having her 20's in her 40's, along with her son, ex-husband, and friends.
