The series revolves around a team of expert NYPD forensic scientists/investigators and police officers. Who investigate and unveil the circumstances behind mysterious and unusual deaths as well as other crimes. This awesome drama series was inspired by the drama series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, and was introduced during an episode of CSI: Miami. The team is headed by former Marine Major, Det. Mac Taylor, and his newest partner, Det. Jo Danville who is an experienced investigator from Washington, D.C. and whose work is driven by her empathy for the victim. The team includes detectives Danny Messer, Lindsay Monroe and doctor Sheldon Hawkes.
