This two-part series is telling the story of Stephen Wraysford who is a soldier and fighting during the first world war, The story turns when he finds himself fighting in the very location where he found his first and great love before the war. His affair was started with Isabelle Azaire when he stayed in her husband's house to learn about business. But unfortunately their affair is exposed by her husband, and Stephen and Isabelle run away together. Eventually the relationship is broken after a short period. After many years, during fighting by chance he travels from future to past and he is captured by the flashbacks of his lost love.
